Collection: Bernhard Bratsberg

Bernhard Bratsberg (b. 2000 in Asker, Norway) live and work in New York. Bratsberg graduated with a bachelor's degree in Visual Arts from Saint Peter's University in New Jersey in the summer of 2023. Bernhard Bratsberg is an artist whose work is driven by a fascination with the complexities of contemporary and everyday life. Through his exploration of themes such as digital overload and the increasing cognitive load in the modern age, Bratsberg aims to shed light on our relationship with technology and how it shapes our lives. Recently, his artistic inquiry has extended to examining the role of masculinity in modern society, particularly focusing on how men are affected by a rapidly changing world and the challenges they face in adapting. By delving into this subject matter, his art sparks reflection and dialogue on the evolving nature of masculinity and the need for men to navigate and redefine their roles in a world that is constantly evolving

Bratsberg is having a solo exhibition with Galleri Duer in Oslo on the 18th of august 2023.

He has previously had a solo exhibition at Bl_nk gallery in Oslo (2021) and at LAAMS in New York (2021).
